The Loyalty, Bonus, and Early Bird draws will take place at Stride Management Corp., 3950 12 ST NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8H9. The Final draw will take place at the STARS Calgary Base, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8M7. Any person wishing to view the draws may do so by attending at the above location on the draw date. All draws will take place under the supervision of Stride Management Corp.
The lottery draws will be conducted using an RNG (Random Number Generator) system. The winning raffle draw numbers shall be determined from the pool of sold raffle ticket numbers. This will include the Loyalty draw, Bonus draw, Early Bird draw, and Final draw.
Only tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m., Jan. 8, 2026, are eligible to win the Loyalty prize. Only tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m., Feb. 3, 2026, are eligible to win the Bonus prize. Only tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m., Feb. 24, 2026, are eligible to win the Early Bird prize. Only tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m., Mar. 20, 2026, will be eligible to win the remaining prizes.
The first draw will be the Loyalty prize, followed by the Bonus prize, the Early Bird prize then followed by all remaining prizes which will be drawn in order of least retail value up to the prize of greatest retail value. Ticket buyers are eligible for all draws provided they have purchased their tickets by the applicable deadlines.
Instant win prizes will be drawn prior to the start of ticket sales from the total tickets available at time of licensing.
ELIGIBILITY:
The following individuals are not eligible to purchase tickets in the lottery: board members and executive management staff of STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service), employees of Stride Management Corp., and members of their immediate family (a spouse, parent, son, daughter, sister, brother, or the spouse of any of the individuals).
The age limit for ticket purchasers is 18 years and over. Purchases must be made in the province of Alberta. Sellers are to advise all ticket purchasers not to put the name of any individual on a ticket that is under the age of
18. All winners must meet eligibility criteria as determined by the lottery rules and Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).
PRIZES:
There are 2,094 total prizes to be won with a total retail value including GST of $4,518,502.61, which includes 1,458 instant win prizes valued at $144,600. The prize values shown are approximate retail values as of the date contracts were negotiated with suppliers. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. Neither winners nor STARS are entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time prizes are awarded. Prize values include all applicable taxes. Prizes must be accepted as awarded - no substitutes unless otherwise stated. A complete list of prizes can be found on the lottery website www.ab.starslottery.ca.
All tickets available at the time of licensing will have a chance at an instant win prize. If e-ticket is selected, instructions on how to claim any instant win prizes will be included with the winner’s ticket email. If printed tickets are selected, the winner will be contacted with instructions on how to claim any instant win prizes.
All winners have three months from the date of the draw to claim their prize. Any costs associated with the delivery of a prize due to distance or unique circumstances will be covered by STARS. Restrictions apply for the following prize(s):
Travel – All travel prizes are valid for two years from the draw date. Extensions will be granted upon request, and blackout dates may apply. All travel includes return airfare from either Calgary or Edmonton unless otherwise indicated.
For any of the cash alternative options, the winner must make their choice by the following dates, or the cash option will be awarded:
Loyalty Prize – Winner must make their choice by Jan. 27, 2026.
Bonus Prize – Winner must make their choice by Feb. 24, 2026.
Travel and Vehicle Prizes – Winners must make their choice by April 7, 2026.
All winners will be notified in writing by STARS and Stride Management Corp. and/or by telephone by a STARS representative of what they have won and how to claim their prize. At the end of each draw, a searchable listing of winners will be posted on starslottery.ca within five days following the draw. Personal information collected will be used to fulfill ticket orders, provide information about future lotteries, contact prize winners, and publicize the names of prize winners. Winners consent to the release of their name, city, and ticket number by the licensee. You will never be asked to send money to claim a STARS LOTTERY prize. If you are asked to send a cheque, money order, or payment of any kind to claim your lottery prize, it is a scam. Hang up the phone or delete the email.
If a winner cannot be located after a period of three months from the draw date, the prize or equivalent cash value will be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by AGLC.
In the event of a winning ticket stub having more than one named individual, STARS will award the prize to the first name listed on the stub. AGLC and STARS are not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise between the named individuals.
Files are continuously backed up by Stride Management Corp. In the unexpected event of a power failure, the draw will be postponed and will take place immediately once power has been restored.
Only upon demonstrating extraordinary circumstances to Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis will the licensee make a request for a draw date extension.
TICKETS:
Only 1,675,000 STARS LOTTERY tickets will be sold in sets of 1 for $40, 4 for $95, 10 for $155, 30 for $310, 50 for $475 and 100 for $650. Tickets are also available in discount bundles when purchased at the same time in a single transaction in conjunction with Lucky STARS 50/50 Lottery and Million STARS Daily Cash Lottery.
The total cost of the discount bundle is:
$410 (30 tickets for $310 in STARS LOTTERY + 30 tickets for $50 in Lucky STARS 50/50 Lottery + 30 tickets for $50 in Million STARS Daily Cash Lottery).
If a purchased ticket has been entered in any draw, no refund will be issued after the draw has taken place. Only tickets that have been paid for, and verified as paid for, are eligible for the respective draw(s). STARS LOTTERY is not responsible for any mail-in order forms that are not received at the ticket processing centre by the ordering deadline.
